The 1977 - Silver Jubilee Crown
The Silver Jubilee of Elizabeth II marked the 25th anniversary of her accession to the thrones of the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth realms. The anniversary date itself was commemorated in church services across the land on 6 February 1977, and continued to be for the rest of that month. To celebrate the occassion, the Royal Mint released a celebratory Crown with a face value of twenty five new pence.
All of our original, 1977 Silver Jubilee Crowns, were made by the Royal Mint, and are classed as Uncirculated. Each one has been carefully sourced and is in excellent condition. They come in a first class protective capsule and are elegantly presented in one of our own display boxes.
