2012 - Diamond Jubilee Crown
The year 2012 marked the Diamond Jubilee of Elizabeth II being the 60th anniversary of her accession to the throne. The only diamond jubilee celebration for any of Elizabeth's predecessors was in 1897, for the 60th anniversary of the accession of Queen Victoria.
The Royal Mint subsequently released a celebratory Crown with a face value of £5 to honour the occasion, and this one is classed as Brilliant Uncirculated. Each one has been carefully sourced and is in excellent condition. They come in a first class protective capsule and are elegantly presented in one of our own display boxes.
